Michael Geller is a Vancouver-based architect, planner, real estate consultant and property developer with four decades’ experience in the public, private and institutional sectors. As president of the Geller Group, he has had a longstanding interest in the design and development of alternative forms of housing.

Michael is a past President of the SFU Community Trust, overseeing the planning and development of UniverCity on Burnaby Mountain.  Prior to joining SFU, he was active in the development of new communities and housing in both the private sector and CMHC.

He has been honoured as a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Planners and Life Member of the Architectural Institute of BC.

Michael lectures, writes a bi-weekly column for the Vancouver Courier and on his personal blog.
